Summerstock With NCCA At Jean's Playhouse

Emerson was up in New Hampshire this summer performing at Jean's Playhouse in The Secret Garden (Albert), Cats (Munkustrap), and Little Shop of Horrors (Orin, et al.).

Emerson had a blast getting the chance to prioritize his love for the material and the work. He was commended  for his continued ability to to enter the room opinionated and with ample ideas. Giving space to the visions of each production, while leading the charge on breathing life into each show.

Emerson was initially only hired to perform in two of the three shows, but was asked to step in last minute for Little Shop.

Resident Company at Suncoast BRoadway

Emerson Spent the 2023-2024 season with Suncoast Broadway Dinner Theatre, performing in Tootsie (u/s Jeff), White Christmas (Sheldrake), Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (Neil Sedaka, Righteous Brother, Lou Adler), and Cats (Skimbleshanks).

Learning how to function at a theater in rep was exhilarating, and he was able to blossom as an ensemble member, and featured performer.

Along with benefiting from the experience of a rigorous rehearsal and performance schedule, Emerson gained proficiency in Costume design and wardrobe maintenance, box office administration, bartending, and restaurant service.

Ragtime: In Concert with the Boston Pops

Emerson recently performed with the Boston Pops in their production of Ragtime: The Symphonic Concert directed by Jason Danieley.

Emerson served as the production's dance captain, and was featured as the role of Stanford White: the historic architect of the Boston Symphony Hall, which was one of the venues of the performance.

The concert was also performed at Tanglewood during their season's opening weekend, and was broadcast on ClassicalWCRB.

Emerson College Graduation and Senior Showcase

Emerson Hart Graduated from Emerson College May of 2023, is aware of the irony, and is now available for hire!

When Emerson decided to enroll at Emerson, he did so considering the full breadth of its training and resources, concluding that his educational goals were most compatible with Emerson College's Musical Theatre program. Post-graduation, he couldn't be more satisfied with his choice.

During his four years of training, Emerson was fortunate enough to take studio classes with Lonny Price who directed the Emerson College Senior Showcase of 2023.

Emerson Stage's
Cabaret

Emerson couldn't think of a more affirming way to round out his collegiate education than by playing Ernst Ludwig in Emerson Stage's production of Cabaret.

The show was such a wonderful application of all the training he received in college, and the in-field experience was able to fill in the gaps in a way that can only be recognized in practicum.

Mining through the textual and musical brilliance of Masteroff, Kander, and Ebb, in all its gaudy glory, was everything an actor could dream of.
